I feel terribly for the German and other European dairy farmers. They rely on gasoline and other petroleum based products to make their tractors and other machines function. They are being squeezed by high grain prices. Now with falling milk prices throughout the EU, they are spending more money, to increase quotas (i.e. do more work) and get paid less for it. In any other industry, the same labor conditions would lead to a strike.
