To regain the confidence of people, Taco Bell and Taco Johns will need to let people the cause of the E. coli outbreak. The president can't simply say that the restaurants are safe when so many people got sick to begin with. Were all the foods tested?

I have only eaten at a Taco Bell once or twice probably in the past 5 years. Taco Bells in my area have had issues with people getting sick from the food. In fact, there was one instance in which the employees had actually put fecal matter in the food. While this may have been an isolated incident, I don't trust Taco Bell, and don't plan to eat there anymore.

I'm not the brightest light bulb in the pack, is one thing common with all the outbreaks of E. coli. This problem is just the tip of the ice. Anybody from anyplace can work, and no health test to work. I think E. coli will be one of the least problems of health.

Well I'm sure you all remember the oubreaks from the spinach bags months back....Taco bell uses a lot of veggies in their fixings. Employees don't wash the produce, they just take it from the fridge and start use...I think that this practice needs to be evaluated by Taco Bell and other food chains...wash the produce with a safe solution that will kill germs...

I trust taco bell as far as I can throw it. I've eaten and gotten sick from their food more than once. Never anywhere else in my entire life have a I gotten food poisoned like at taco smell.

Looks like the lettuce may be to blame instead of the onions.

I would eat taco bell regardless of what bacteria was in their food.

Isn't there a better way to narrow it down?

Is it also possible that such contamination could come from the use of their Sour Cream caulk gun contraption? It's about the only other thing I can think of that's used on almost everything Taco Bell serves.
